ARE ALL HATS AND HEADPIECES ONE OF A KIND?
Yes they are. Each hat is hand-made and will therefore vary slightly in size and shape.
Some pieces also include limited, one of a kind trims. Fascinator headpieces involve hours
of careful handiwork. Each style is truly one of a kind and cannot be replicated. If you
see a headpiece you love, get it while it's still available!
SIZING/HOW DO I MEASURE MY HEAD?
You will need a soft measuring tape, in inches, to determine your head size. Start by placing the beginning of the tape just above the eyebrows in the middle of the forehead, and bring the tape around to the back of your head, over your occipital bone (the rounded base of your cranium) and back towards the front, meeting the other end of the tape at the center of your forehead. Do not pull the tape measure too tight or your hat will fit just as tight. Measure your head exactly how you like wearing your hats (whether it be looser or more snug). To ensure that you are going to be pleased with your purchase, please make sure to measure your head size accurately. All of our hats and headpieces shown on our site measure about 22.5", which is a woman's average head size. Depending on the style, we can accommodate smaller or larger head sizes ranging from 21" - 25" (prices vary depending on size).

CARE FOR YOUR HEADPIECE/CAN I WEAR MY HAT IN THE RAIN?
We care about how you care for your hats. Do NOT, under any circumstance, wear your felt or straw headpiece in the rain. Water can stain and warp the shape, causing it to shrink and misshapen. Remove dust, lint, and surface dirt from a felt hat with a soft hat brush, using a dark colored brush for dark felt and a light colored brush for light felt. Gently brush from one side and follow the brushed direction of the hat towards the other side. To remove any visible dirt on a straw hat, use a clean, damp cloth (as least saturated as possible) and gently rub in a circular motion. To prevent the brim from distorting or flattening, always place your hat upside down on a flat surface or in a storage box/hatbox. If you do not have a hatbox which is spacious enough to accommodate the full height of your hat, simply cover your hat in a see thru plastic bag from the dry cleaners, and place the hat on a Styrofoam mannequin head.
